Greetings from Canada, and no, we do not wish to become the 51st state! However, I have noticed that Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine have got kind of funny borders. I have also found those from your part of the world to be really good people! I am therefore inviting you to join us as provinces 11, 12 and 13! Please make sure you bring Bernie and Bill with you!!

Best,

Penny

Your comment is very disrespectful- Bernie has fought for the working class for decades.

What have you ever done for working Americans?

It would be hard to untangle one person's efforts while working in a deeply dysfunctional place like the US congress. But now we don't have to think about that, because it's not likely to exist after this administration.

I love how she connected so many of the slashes from the Tяump's administration to their community. _No_ one is immune from this. I hope her report proverbially snowballs into an avalanche of activism. Those in the administration should not be allowed to go anywhere without protests following.

It’s so unbelievably ironic that JD Vance has the temerity to go ski at a national park after all these people are getting fired. And he’s going to go skiing without recognizing at all that we are destroying nature. JD Vance is not that stupid, I’m afraid he’s just self interested greedy and foolish like the rest of the Trump administration.

I agree with you completely about this small man with a big ego except I think he is not very intelligent. Education can give you facts but you have to find wisdom.

Ironic he and t should belittle a man who has earned every bit of the world's respect, Zelensky.

t is like a little boy behind the wizard of Oz's curtain flicking levers because he can with no idea of how dangerous those levers could be. JD is trying to grab limelight that most VP don't get.

Remember the odds of one General Washington against the behemoth English King. Zelensky's gonna win. He is pretty savvy and he has the world cheering him on and supporting him. UKRAINE!

let's start with your comment "Zelenkyy is a fool." Here is a man elected from show bs, whose country was attacked and he has stay there with his family, leading his people, visiting his soldiers, traveling the world to diplomatically garner support effectively and keeping the country effectively staving off one of the largest fighting forces snd you'r calling him a fool? Second, JD challenged Zelensky's diplomatic capacity. A diplomat would not challenge another in that way and reved the president by claiming Z was not appreciative or respectful. Whose the poor diplomat. Did JD miss that class. Finally some folks go to well named schools on donations and you can't train a person on empathy or ethics or for that matter to pull together a good path to achieve something. I got my college degrees and I see plenty intelligent successful non college folks around me.

Zelensky is no fool. He is a respected grateful effective leader and Hero.

Thanks, Bill, for highlighting a brave young woman using her platform and her voice to call out the egregious behavior of our VP. He proves his unfitness for the job on almost a daily basis. It's up to us to be vocal, even loud, about it. What do you think it cost for him, his coterie of secret service personnel, Air Force 2 and it's staff to allow him a few hours on the slopes? I'll warrant it wasn't less than 1 million dollars, while we are "making government more efficient" by depriving middle class WORKERS of their livelihoods by the tens of thousands. A Pox on them (the disrupters) and the horses they rode in on.

Well done Lucy, and thanks to Bill for sharing it with us. There are many who object to this administration's bullying misbehavior, which frankly would not be tolerated in Kindergarten. It seems they have forgotten all the lessons taught about learning and living together they taught us at that age. We need a lot more Lucy, and a lot less of Vance, the orange menace, and Muskrat. I live n Canada. Same planet. Of course climate is about money. Does not have to be pushed to the back burner tho. We can all get rich working on climate. Current administration is moving forward while leaving climate behind. The only thing holding things back is old and entrenched oil money. Doesn’t really matter tho cuz renewable energy is happening regardless.

Lucy Welch is a genuine patriot and hero, Thank You Lucy!

Remembering the rallying cry of the original American patriots of Boston, “No taxation without Representation” perhaps it is time to consider the opportunity this concept offers while Congress fails its duty to hold our Executive branch in check.

A discussion may be in order about staging a national boycott on Federal taxation. An action which could create the political will to counter this administration’s inexcusable attack on our Federal workforce, our allies, our democracy and our environment.

Just a thought…

Trump isn’t trying to stop the war because he gives a F__k about the Ukrainians, he just wants to rob them of what little they have left. And leave them exposed to further aggression from Putin.

Zelenskyy was asking for guarantees of their safety from Putin in the deal & DonOLD refused to give it. America has always stood for democracy & freedom, DonOLD has aligned himself & our country with a brutal dictator & murderer of his opponents. I want none of that. I support Ukraine 🇺🇦

I’ve read all about the colors revolutions, the Maidan, Russian puppet presidents, corruption, etc. I prefer to believe some resources above others, particularly not from Putin.

No one legitimately stays in power for 25 yrs or more without corruption & brute force & also shutting down his citizens access to outside news sources.

Putin kills off any opposition to his grip on power, so I’m not inclined to believe much of what he has to say about who started what.
