What a great day - SUN Day in San Jose! We sang, we marched, we cheered, we heard fine words from dedicated people who work every day to defend clean energy and to protect our wonderful world — which needs all the help it can get! Today was a joy! Thanks to all.
Thank you, Bill, for bringing people together across the country to celebrate our progress while we recommit to the work ahead! Wonderful, joyous event in Takoma Park, MD, with CCAN - got to hear from some of our most dynamic local lawmakers (State Delegates Lorig Charkoudian and David Moon and State Senator Will Smith) voicing their determination to continue the fight and filling in details about exciting legislation they got over the finish line and what they plan to push in the coming year, and got a signed copy of Mike Tidwell's latest book on climate change (The Lost Trees of Willow Avenue)!
Congratulations to everyone involved in this wonderful uplifting project. I've been watching all your preparations and now the outcome with beautiful photos. Thanks for the photo of your awesome grandson, too!!!
On this occasion, I reflected on 350.org annual events which I organized in San Francisco East Bay (yay San Leandro 🌞) hoping Sun Day will be sustained and grow perennially with innovative strategic messaging until we reach Net Zero.
I visited a local home build for solar from the ground up. It was fascinating to see it work and to connect with various systems: rainwater catchment and filtration, landscaping local plants, heat pump, etc.
You ROCK, Bill! Thank you so much for your leadership on Sun Day!
Bill, you are spectacular! Deep gratitude for your life.
Thanks so much from Canada. Reading your book right now. So many aha moments! And I‘m not only learning, but itching to get active in my area ☀️
