Bill, you write, “ We obviously need ways to speed work on renewable energy projects, ” but my sense is that the preponderance of your energy will oppose permitting reform. I think we need a proactive & positive approach to permitting reform for not just clean energy but also for housing density and transit. I think the benefits of these are far more important than the downside of “bad stuff” getting permitted (no reform will be perfect). I’d love to see more writing and proposals in this area.
