Thanks for your important work here, Bill. Please take a close look at our problem with

deforestation, though. California has seen 4 cities destroyed by fires in the Sierra Nevada.

The result has been to rebuild with lumber, making sure that the next round of fires will be hotter

and more dangerous. Cities who suffered are being pressured by the timber industry to go ahead and rebuild with lumber. They don't mention that tree mortality is up to 3% a year on the West Coast, and that doesn't count the ones they log. I have a team that can rebuild those cities with all Class A or Noncombustible materials. Please put me in touch with someone who can help. We price match lumber with our specs (I've built hundreds of houses with steel in the last few decades), and might be cheaper. The Insurance Trade Association won't provide lower premium rates for noncombustible construction. All about the $- for them. Help needed. We have the men, materials, engineers, and architects, but it

takes money to rebuild thousands of houses, and we need help. mike.greenframe@gmail.com

Thanks for all 89 chapters of The Other Cheek, all the leadership from you and the good group bringing us The Third Act, and the education you've given me in The Crucial Years. I look forward to every segment.

Wow--you actually made me feel good! I'm not used to columns about climate achieving that. (: We need the encouragement.

Ok here on the "fighter" thing and playing hard and strategically on both defense and offense TO WIN.

My Uncle, Taffy Abel was the first Native American in the Winter Olympics (1924 Silver Medal) and the first Native American and POC in the (1926 to 1935 New York Ranger and Chicago Blackhawks - helped win 2 Stanley Cups). He once knocked down a coach after losing a game when the coach said: "We can win next time." There after Taffy always said, "I am in the business of winning".

I knew him and can tell you he was a "fighter" despite rampant discrimination in that era. www.TaffyAbel.com

Bill said: "Think, for example, about the single biggest market for Big Oil: gas for cars" I would also say "Class A bus like RVs" I think a coordinated campaign against manufacturers of these RVs and their owners would have good PR value and start to get us a small WIN.

Taylor Swift and other Private Jet owners got their butts kicked here recently with their HIGH Transportation Carbon footprint. No reason it could not work against the RV Industry and RV Owners by Congress imposing a heavy excise tax there which go to plant more trees, put in EV charging stations, etc.

Agree 100%! Trying to explain this market concept to the extreme left that dismisses this bill - where renewables are already winning and will benefit greatly from this biggest climate bill to date! There are millions of us sane folks who will take advantage of these incentives to buy EV, install solar panels, heat pumps etc! The extremes on both sides are now hurting any progress at all! I call it a Pocketbook Revolution in my books! It's really the only way other than constant protesting and civil disobedience which we can't seem to keep up consistently enough to make change based on reality of day to day survival - to beat Big Business in every facet of our lives - Today Fossil Fuels corporations - tomorrow Big Agra and Big Pharma and any huge conglomerates making money money off of suffering of humans, fellow creatures and the planet itself! Be a wise informed consumer - cut back on unnecessary consumption of meat and electricity! Make some sacrifices for a better future for all! God bless this mostly human made mess!

I would really appreciate some support in where to put my money - I do t gave a lot but I want to invest in a brokerage and retirement account(s) that are socially responsible and climate friendly.

Will The Other Cheek be out as a book? An actual book?

What an effen joke this is. Big oil has for decades helped society with funding all sorts of things, unlike your beloved EV's which will cost a small fortune to maintain. If one catches fire, Lithium burns very hot and the toxic waste it gives off is disgusting and far more dangerous than any internal combustion engine. Its an effen joke all of it but then only young people and the ill informed will follow this idiot thread and will believe it. Sad really but that's the sheeple of today, blindly follow and never question.
