Democratic executive and Congressional leadership's denial of rising fascism is as pervasive of Fox consumers' denial of Covid. Biden was never a strong dealmaker, and he dislikes confrontation. This has allowed B-team senator to hijack the last vestiges of democracy. Whether or not BBB ever passes in whatever mangled final form is largely irrelevant to the survival of our republic. Sadly, Democratic leadership cannot, or will not, make the case to the American people about the stark reality of authoritarian rule. Instead, they're hiding behind BBB to run out the 2021 term.
